The secret of happiness

 How many people in the world said they're unhappy with their life?
How many people in the world ungrateful with their life?
How many people in the world never stop compare what they have with the others?


I met the girls at the bus when i wanna going to National Library of Indonesia, yesterday. They look very happy, one of them talking with the other passenger, a man passenger. They both spoke in a loudly. 

I tried to ignore.

But i can't.

"I am happy today, cause wanna going to the place i have never visited!" said the girl with flower-shirt. She look like 14 yo.

A man passenger just smiling.

"I have never been to Monumen Nasional."

"Serious? where do u live? is it far from Jakarta?" Said a man who just smiled.

"Eheu, ya (nodded), not far away, it's only about 2 hours from Jakarta."
"So, why u have never been there?" asked the man.

I wondering to know the answer.

one sec'
two sec'
three...


Boom!

She just smiling!


"It's just that i don't know why i must go there." 

He stared at her. Of course i do the same thing.


"Hey! why u let the others know!" said one of the girls from the front seat, i know, she's one of her friends, the girl with flower-shirt.

They just laugh. The flower (shirt) girl and her friend. They laugh loudly, i don't know what makes them laugh. 

"Sir, she never let me talk (to stranger, especially) that i have never been to Monumen Nasional. Why do u think, sir? is that weird?" 

"I don't think so, but i really wondering to know, why u have never been there? i know before u told me just that u don't know why u must go there, but, why?" 


I'm smiling now, he's also like me, he want to know more and more.

'Never stop, sir, until u get the reasonable answer from the girl! hahaha' i said to my self.


"I don't want do something that i don't want to do that. Just because a friend or someone i've ever wanted to, no, isn't me! I know my self, i don't want compare my achievement, my experiences with the others. I wanna doing something that i love, that i need to do, that i want to do, not because the place is the famous places, not because my friend has been there and i must to go there." 

She was made me shocked with the answer. 

"Even though it's only this small case?" The man asked while looking curious.

"No, sir. It is not only, every experience i feel and every place that i visited, it's a big thing. I'm grateful of my life, my experiences, and my achievement, although mine it's different from others."

"Then, are u happy like that?"

She said with a beautiful smile, "Yes, that's the secret of my happiness, sir!" 


Sometimes, we're not aware, thing first thing from happiness is accept our self. If we can accepted our self, we can be happy. However our condition is. I know, sometimes life not easy, maybe u want to give up,  just because u're different from others. But, the most thing y'all must know is...
U're one of the great person in the world. Ur smile is a part of happiness for someone.

Seandainya waktu tidak berjalan menuju garis takdir saat ini aku tidak akan merasakan gemuruh yang semakin hari semakin berisik. Seandainya semua kenangan singkat tidak tertata rapih di kepala aku tidak perlu kelimpungan mencari cara berdiri dengan kakiku sendiri.
